Default NL400 TPTK AK

Note: This is not on FTP or PokerStars so the games are considerably less aggressive than most of you are used to. (sorry for no converter also)

I have been playing 23/20 over about 100 hands on this table, no big action yet. I have been 3-betting a couple of times but never went to showdown. I should have a TAG but very aggressive image. Villain is 40/17 over 60 hands, I have no read except he has limped UTG a few times.

Texas Hold'em NL $2.00/$4.00
BTN ($418.00 in chips)
SB ($629.30 in chips)
BB ($377.00 in chips)
Hero ($452.00 in chips)
Villain ($463.40 in chips)
CO ($400.00 in chips)

SB: Post SB $2.00
BB: Post BB $4.00
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [Ac Kd]
Hero: Raise $14.00
Villain: Call $14.00
CO: Call $14.00
BTN: Fold
SB: Fold
BB: Fold
*** FLOP *** [9h Ad 6h]
Hero: Bet $32.00
Villain: Raise $88.00
CO: Fold
Hero...?

I feel my hand is so transparent, and I doubt this opponent is tricky enough to raise this flop with a flushdraw, especially with the A on board and another opponent still in the hand, as he has less FE. I felt like folding on the flop, but it feels incredibly weak. Do I smell a set or am I just a nit? Also, is this not SA/WB?

I also considered CRAI on the flop...

If you don't want to 3bet the flop or fold, you can lead a blank turn for 120ish and fold to a raise. If called look for a blank river to push/valuebet.

Betting out is way better with no reads on the villians.

Check raising is bad. Bloats the pot when you are behind. Against a standard, non-creative player this is usually a fold. A9,99,66 are very much in his range. You'll see AQ/AK here a percentage of the time, and a draw as well but you are usually behind here from said player.

I definitely wouldn't fold against this player. Could be ace with a worse kicker couldn't it? I'd probably call and lead most turns with 2/3 to 3/4 pot bet to get action from weak aces.

My experience is the same as FGators, hence you could just fold and don't feel bad about it.

Fat chance in hell I'm ever thinking about a fold. 3-bet push the flop is the best way to get value imo.

This usually gets folds for me. I would call the flop raise and let him commit himself to the pot before pushing

agree that folding to the first raise is really weak. this guy sounds like he's stacking off with AJ and maybe worse if you give him the chance.

i'd usually 3bet all-in on the flop but i could also see a turn crai.
