Also, if you raise preflop or (especially) reraise preflop, many players will put you on a AAXX hand. It is very easy to play against someone who only raises with Aces, especially is AAXX is out of position.
You should be raising (and sometimes reraising aggressive players) with other strong hands like JT98, KKQJ, 9876 to mix up your play.

I just skimmed this, so maybe I missed it, but..
At some of the Stars lower limit tables, they now have the buyin at 200bb I think. So when people talk about a "buyin" they generally refer to 100bb. So if you play 1c/2c a buyin is $2.00.
