And this years Bears has a much better offense than those teams. Interesting stat 17 out the last 18 SB winners have had a top 10 defense. The Colts are not even close. They were [censored] for a reason, they didnt turn from a terrible defense to a great defense despite what all the experts tell you.

Yeah, but we weren't talking about the Bears O vs. those other teams. We were talking about how those defenses stopped powerhouse offenses.

Also, have you even read this thread? I've said time and time again that I haven't bought into this Colts D being far improved.

Yes I have read it. I wasnt really speaking towards you but the general attitude here that the 06 Colts D morphed into the 85 Bears D in three weeks.

Is that what most people are saying? Hmm, well they're insane. The Colts got better with the addition of Sanders and Morris, but I hadn't heard anyone making such dumb comparisons.

I am voluntarily staying away from this thread. No matter what, I am far too biased against the Bears. The Bears' fans here don't need to read my comments on their 'special day'. Though I obviously wish a poor result with long-term injuries for the Bears in the Super Bowl, I say good luck to the Bears fans that happen to post on this board. I will stay out of your circle jerk.
