I'd shove. We aren't that deep. His hand range is probably mostly pairs, but I don't really care. It is a speed tournament so I am willing to gamble even more early.

Edit to add: BTW, he range isn't only pairs. Some players limp hands like A9 in EP, get annoyed that some "table captain" raised in LP and decide to re-raise no matter what. It doesn't happen that often, but frequently enought to make his range more than just pairs.

Yeah I think this is a push. I call with AA/KK and maybe QQ. Can't call off 25% of our stack hoping to hit an A or K. A push is pretty good even if it doesnt get called, but I bet it does a lot of the time, so you get to see 5 cards.

No one ever has limp-raise-folded in the history of poker. advocating a call with QQ+ is mind boggling. you suck dave.

It's amazing how many hands weak players will play like this, I've seen J8o(not kidding)-AA and everything in between. It's not KK,AA enough to make it -EV, shove em in and be blown away when he turns over A9s (happened to me last night).

What's mind boggling is your bitterness for apparently no reason. Also note the response above this one, clown.

I don't want a fold, but it's possible. It does happen occasionaly so you're wrong.

I have to agree with Dave here people post here for thought out responses as Dave gave...The person obviouslly wanted a double check his call was right to make sure that when he calls he doesnt call into an obvious Aces or Kings...because my guess is that is what happened..and while you may have never seen someone limp raise fold does not mean it has never happened especially at higher limits and slower structures...perhaps this player has 23 and is trying to put Hero off his hand there are many possibilies all that should not be discretited when brought up.
