Default 33 - debateable on every street

Notes on the players:
EP3: He has weird teeth.
CO: Ultra fishy loose passive lady
Button: maniac old persian guy in self destruct mode.
BB: Oldtime gardena draw player. Aggressive. Loves to attack weakness.

I EP limp 33, because there is a poster, and the game is almost right to do this w/o one. Guy to my left limps. CO checks her option. Insane maniac persian guy on the button raises. Taggish codger with a buzzcut calls in the bb. I call. All call.

Flop 455 (I think rainbow) Checked to codgerman who bets. BB calls. I checkraise. EP3 folds. CO calls 2 cold. Button 3 bets. BB calls. I call. CO calls.

Turn is a 2, and it's checked around.

River is a nine. BB leads, and his hands tremble pretty fiercely as he is leading. Mike Caro be damned, I raise. all else fold. BB 3 bets quickly with his hundo. I fold.

well, now we see why mike caro's book is generally respected?

ew @ river btw

i think i can get away on the flop, frankly, as the times we're ahead are almost 0 and even if we're ahead rio is going to destroy us a lot of those times.

edited to take out the email thing

I don't mind anything but the river (next time river that 3, A or 6). River it's a fold. I have the strong feeling BB whiffed on the turn check-raise attempt. Any made vulnerable hand he flopped, he would have check-raised himself...being an aggressive player, right?

"I EP limp 33, because there is a poster"

Presence of the poster mean maniac button will almost certainly raise pre-flop.

When the TAG calls the flop bet, I'm gone. Even if I have the best hand here, I gotta dodge the turn and river cards.

On the river, sometimes us old codgers shake not because we have a monster, but because those of us old enough to have played draw in Gardena, well, we're old. That said, he called two more on the flop.

Would BB play flopped trips like this? Either way he's 1betting the river OOP in a 4 way pot after putting in 3 bets on the flop. This isn't a bluff very often.

You should edit out what happened after you raised.

PF seems okay, although since button is an incredible maniac, I'd expect him to raise pretty every time it's his button (and Andy makes a good point about the poster encouraging him), so this is a pretty high-variance play.

I'd just fold the flop. Even if everything goes *perfectly*, (BB and button just call, and you are currently ahead), they are going to likely have 12 outs against you and at least one of them is going to see the river. Add in the fact that you could be way behind already, the "ulta-fishy" CO is often going to cold-call, RIO, etc... and this seems like an easy fold.

On the river, BB pretty much has to be bluffing into 3 players with 67 for you to win this pot - is he that agressive? Will the ulta-fish and the maniac fold an overpair/4/9 for 2 cold? I think I'd rather call than raise, but I'd much rather just fold.

I know it's very wrong, but I sorta want to call the river 3-bet. If this guy loves to attack weakness, he might figure that you can't have a very big hand since you checked the turn and his 3-bet might be a last-ditch desperation bluff with no pair (and beating him with 33 would be some sweet ownage).

you can call the river 3bet if you're rich and want to see a butchered trip 5s or better every single time...
