Default 2/4, deep, turn play with toppair on drawy board

River: ($448) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $20, Hero calls $20.

Final Pot: $488.

Not sure about the raising size on the turn. He doesn't get the implied odds for the call as I will c/b or fold to any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or a card completing a straight draw. So what would your raising size on the considering the stacks

I say fold river solely because he cranked it down to $20 instead of his standard $24.

I think the turn is fine, because I hate these spots and never know exactly how much to raise these "same bet" donks who bet tiny constantly. You want to put in a raise, but I feel like I don't want to play a massive pot with one pair against a guy who is so bad he's unreadable and could have you crushed. I wouldnt hate a larger raise, but $120 seems fine and I'm curious what others say.

Lol @ Q6o. Minraise river for 40 bucks?

Come on. At it's best he has QJ and was drawing on his gut shot, but I hardly believe that anything worse will call my river raise

what is concerning me, ist that he get's pretty good potodds for any draw. Ik, he won't get any implied as i'm folding to every spade and every card completing a one card straight draw, but would be a bet of 200 and fold to an all-in on the turn not better?

Raise river all day, they always call with worse in this spot because they will convince themselves that they have induced a bluff by betting weird small ammounts every street.

What's your goal by raising the river? Getting him to fold a hand like KQ or AQ? Achieving this, the raise must be quite large.
Value raise? What worser hand will call me? I showed a lot of strength on flop and river and he's not a 40 wts callingstation. Do you really think he calls preflop with Qx lower that J? Don't think so. I wouldn't even exclude the possibility of 98s, who ist now trapping with trips to induce a third raise.
