Re: good spot to fold a flush? pokerstars 100nl
ok i [censored] that up to .... i checked raised river he pushed 75 for me to call... i figured that if i lead river it would give him the chance to just call with Ax , but if i check he 100% of the time will have to value bet his trips and i can get more value from the check raise. His push caught me off guard and i didnt have a clue what to do.

Re: good spot to fold a flush? pokerstars 100nl
i dont get the hate to the river checkraise. if you're betting you are probably potting, but all hands that call pot on the river are value betting when checked to (nobody ever checks when they improve to non-nuts on the river), nor do they fold it to the check/raise. so out of potting and check/raising smallish, the small cr gets a little bit more money in, and maybe every once in a while we catch a bluff. fwiw by small cr i mean maybe make it 40 to go (54 total)
but yes, its a fold now. |
