Default Interesting combo draw spot vs TAG

Villain here is bean555. No history nad his stats are 20/18/4. What do people think of 2 barrelling the turn? Given I didn't, what do people think of a C/R?

UTG: $231.45
Hero: $196
CO: $199

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, Hero raises to $7, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

i think you have a ton of FE for a check/shove here. he has an overpair or worse spade draw more often than a 5 or a 2 and your c-bet flop/check turn line is going to make him think he can take this pot w/ just about any 2 cards.

why did u check the turn? Did u expect him to check behind? I think I'd just double barrel here the vast majority of time.

as played I guess I call.

Hmm.

I assume your image is your norm.. nitty...

if the board didn't double pair on the turn it's a standard turn c/r allin, but there's too high a chance you're drawing to 1 out

Double barreling the turn is ok too, but you'll be forced to fold to a raise and a turn check/raise is good against aggro players.

Spot on. Shove.

Edit: I would bet the turn though, but as played, shove it.

i just read your question about a check-raise.

I don't really like it since we're probably getting the odds to call even given his big bet size and there's a reason it's known as the stack-a-donk line because villains will call here with worse hands.

However, now that I've seen villain's stats, it appears that he's tight and aggressive post flop, so I interpret that to mean that he knows about hand ranges and can read a check raise on the turn as a strong line and that he's aggressive enough postflop to be calling you with a lot of hands on the flop.

Can you expain this? Do you think we have that much more FE by check-raising the turn all-in vs double barrelling?

What other hands do you check-raise on that turn? Do you check raise AA?

If our Ace is good then don't we have 15 outs? and if so then aren't we getting 2-1 odds or the right price to call without any implied odds which we likely have with the Ace and 4?
