RVG's ROI simulator I think (I've never used it).

[/ QUOTE ]It says that with an ROI of 0 over 7,000 games, the odds your true ROI is 6% (that's as high as it goes) is 0.2%.

Prolly no one ever has a "true roi", because your game steadily changes and the games do, too. -.-

I had a 110 buyin downswing at the 60's earlier this year and I'm one of the best at that level.

[/ QUOTE ]
what makes anyone think they're best?
stop lying to yourself.
it just doesn't help.
clearly 7k sngs even can't happen to a decent player at the 16s where the avg skill is ridiculously low + a 110 downswing is close to impossible when you're one of the best at your stake.
i would never call myself one of the very best at the stakes i play because saying that makes seems to make you arrogant and lazy about your game.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not being cocky. I'm going by results and there are very few(no more than 5-10) that have a better ROI and/or profit over the past 12 months at the 60's. Also, if you don't believe you are one of the best at the level you shouldn't be playing that level. The only reason I said I'm one of the best is so people wouldn't make comments like "you probably had a 110 buyin downswing because you suck, lol". Guess I was wrong.

Someone once posted a link to a calculator that calculated the odds that your true ROI was (whatever) based on winnings or losing over a certain number of games. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Arguing this with Guthrie is redundant. it's happened time and time again. He is one of the unlucky ones with a rigged account.

Some people might think that moderators should refrain from making snide remarks, repeatedly.

[/ QUOTE ]

The reason I'm a mod is because I've been here for awhile and I'm a pretty active poster. So, as someone that's been here awhile, some posters just get on your nerves from there posting habits.

Your particular habit that is irritating is that you only post in threads that discuss downswings and talk about how bad you've run forever. You contribute very little otherwise.

So, forgive my snide comments, but I'll continue to make them because it's a good outlet for me and I am not running the risk of chasing away a contributing member of STTF.

[/ QUOTE ]Well the range of his ROI is a hell of a lot closer to 0 than it is to 8%.

sence,

maybe he didn't get what you were saying because you didn't use sentences, punctation or even put a string of words that belong together.

FWIW, I read it the same as ditch did.

So, in conclusion, please don't troll this thread.
