i just call 3bet IP preflop with KK against agro cbettor ...

I do not think he would have lead into me OOP with an Ace here in reraised pot on SUPER dry board (I was quite sure he did not have an Ace, did not want to turn my hand into bluff). if he has say a strong Ace he is probably going to give me a chance to cbet. That was my read on the flop

I considered folding river (but felt it was close). I was thinking that after my flop call he LIKELY thinks I have an ace, which was problamatic ... but I still did not think he had an ace ..... I knew with flop raise I could have taken it down prob (and if i had say JJ I would likely have just reraised him AI there given my read) BTW, my SD% is relatively low and I fold to cbet decent amount too which would entice a guy like this to try to steal it on the flop

i would raise flop to push him off the hand, cause it makes everything easier


that way played i would fold river, cause 21/17 i think is competent, and he has a hand most of the times ( sometimes river could help him - cause he 3bets lightly - that's also why i opt to flop raise, cause we give him two free cards )

like somebody else said, if he thinks you have an ace he also thinks you're not supposed to fold it. nobody will, or should, expect you to fold an ace so he's not bluffing, and the fact that he puts you on an ace means he's not vbetting worse.

what is this referring to? Also to add, I thought it was close on river and when I think it is pretty close I tend to call so I can learn from the situation ...

You think he cbets "too much" but he doesn't cbet when he flops top pair? You obviously know what he had because you called the river, but you're crazy if you don't think he cbets an ace here.
