Default Taj USPC Hands

Yesterday Taj USPC $500: 300/600/75, I raise to 1500 from MP with QTo, BB calls. Flop: Jd 9s 8s. BB moves all in for 9400 (about 3x the pot). I decide to call. As 2s, spade on the turn. Yeah, I know I wasn't that far ahead, but how many times do you get shoved on for triple the pot when you are holding the nuts? This took most of my stack, immediately lost a race with AQ vs. JJ (A K 4, Q, T, of course, to give hope and then take it away).

Last week Taj USPC $2K. I raise from early position with K3ss. BB calls. Flop: K Q 3 rainbow. BB checks, I bet, BB raises, I shove (for about 3.5x his raise), he beats me in the pot with, not KQ, but K4dd. There's one diamond on the board. Running diamonds, gg me.
