Default Guy crashes electric motorcycle

Interview/crash

This is a guy demonstrating an extremely fast electric motorcycle at a Wired convention. First 3 minutes is an interview, around 3:25 is the crash.

You don't know what you are talking about. That was high horsepowered drag bike. 0-60 in less than 1 second, are you kidding me. You are an idiot if you think it is safe to do that on a crowded street with ne helmet. Plus the guy was obviously inexperienced.

another cool thing about these high end electric bikes and cars is that they generate really high torque through a wide range of rpms. therefore, you don't need many gears. i bet that bike does the entire quarter mile drag race without shifting.

It's been a long while since I've had any sort of science class, but (you're right) isn't torque constant regardless of RPM with an electric motor?
