My first attempt at this website stuff

So after wandering in this forum once a few weeks ago, I got to reading about the Adsense sites people had done, so I started reading and researched, and figured I would have a try at it. Instead of using Adsense, I joined a marketing kind of program and put together this small site on blogger geared towards the whole free Ipod thing http://infoforfreeipods.blogspot.com/ (Please don't click the product links or the links under "Get Yours Now" unless you're actually interested, thanks!) I obviously don't have a whole lot of time invested in the site, but it's been up a couple of days and has a profit of about $3.60. I guess I'm just looking for feedback from people who know a lot more about this than I do, thanks in advance. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I'm going to come across as a complete noob but I wasn't sure if I was *allowed* to do that or not. I'm assuming I am since you posted that, but are there any general rules for what I can and cannot use?

You want to add a graphic and use alt text that says something to the effect of "My free ipod that I received last year". It helps a small amount for SEO.

This might be a noob question too, but how did you remove that top frame that's always on blogger sites?

This is actually one of the nicer blogger layouts I've seen.

Yes, they have. Search Google or something and you can find more explicit details about how the program works, and find websites that tested a lot of the "Get a Free _______" offers.

I figured something like this would be best, but I wasn't sure if for copyright reasons or whatever I was allowed to do this, though I guess with everyone's suggestions it's something to look into.

If you wanted to do it the "safest"(?) way... take your own pics of an Ipod and use your pics for the graphic.

Have you gotten free ipods from those offers? You should take some screenshots of the types of surveys they ask you to fill up or post some info about how long each step of the process takes.

I think at this point I'll just find Ipod pictures online somewhere and go with it... don't really have access to an Ipod
