Default How to bring a lot of money to Europe?

Maybe not a LOT compared to some of you but I am in a big downswing so...

I am goign to the EWSOP. Before that, I am going for several days to the aviation club in Paris for some cash games. I want to bring about 10k to play with. I plan on playing something like a 2,000 buy in game whatever that is in Euros. Should i just bring cash or is there a better way? gotta go to the bank soon so... Thanks.

If you're going to the bank anyway, just talk to someone at the bank, they'll tell you what to do.

Either take dollars and exchange in France or exchange in the U.S and take to France. What is the problem?

American Express Traveller's Checks; they're insured.

There are fees associated with them though.
