How good is Todd Brunson?

I just watched a re-run of superstars 2 and he says that he is the biggest cash winner of all time... or something along those lines, with 20m comming from the big game.

Is he a devious little cupcake?

He's referring to when he played HU LHE agaisnt Andy Beal back in 2003 I believe. IIRC he won over $13 million from Andy in a two day span, and nearly $20 million overall from him.

He was playing as a part of a group of pros who combined their bankrolls so that they could play Beal at ultra high stakes though, so any profit was split among them.

Definitely Todd Brunson. Ted Forrest had alot of success against him initially though. Brunson is the one who crushed him, and then Howard Lederer finished him off the first time around to the tune of 9.3 million in one night. That was the same night that he busted out of the 2004 WSOP ME against Brunson.

Funny part is Howard gets knocked out in the middle of the largest tourney ever at the time and wins 3X's 1st place later that night in one game.
