Default Situation that comes up too often

You are HU with a drooling donk (passive, very high VPIP, very low aggression and PFR).

You have flopped a monster (2 pair+).

You bet pot, you are called.

Turn completes an obvious/only draw.

Your action?

I've been losing tons of cash here. Now, that's not to say that I'm being outdrawn, it could mean just as well that I'm not getting proper value.

this is the standard tough poker spot. Everyhand is different and is highly villain dependent. The worst part about this is the fact that a lot of fish bet at these draws regardless if they have them or not. (side note: this is why you lead draws against them) Posting hands is better then a general post about this topic.

I've provided a read. Passive, high VPIP, low PFR. Make it 45/5/1.2 if you need some numbers.

You hold AA.

Flop comes down:

A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

You Pot, You are Called

Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Another (that some might say is different)

Villain is 89/30/2

Hero: 87

Flop: Q 8 7 r

Donk pots, you raise 4x their bet, donk calls

Turn: 5

Donk shoves

Hand 1 Im betting turn with position or c/c oop and folding to any large river bet unless I fill up of course.

hand 2 is a call usually against a donk but depends on how preflop went. Was this a limped pot? Raised pot? who raised? where did villain call/make raise from? Only hands you worry about are Q8, Q7, 69 and a set. 69 and a set usually dont shove here donk style. So then your worried about 2 hands which is reasonable enough for me to make a call.

Are we really folding hand 1 to a blank river against a donk?

Hand 2 was a raised pot. Not that it matters with said villain, he's playing any hand and I had position with 87s.

Well your OP said you've been losing a bunch of cash here and im not sure if that is because you've called down hands like hand 1 or you've been folding them. Yes I would fold hand 1 ot any large bet eithe ron turn or river but I definately would throw some block bets in there and try and get a cheap showdown.

EDIT: Feel free to jump in people i feel like us two are dominating this thread

Hand 1 I'm never folding. Donks play any ace as the nuts, he can have AT and still call a shove. Can be a set, can be 2 pair. I'm trying to get it in on the turn, because I don't want a fourth diamond on the river. If he has the flush (or 54 for that matter), bad luck, but even then we still have 10 outs.

Hand 2 depends on stack sizes and pot size. If the shove is around potsize, I call, but if it's a lot bigger I can find a fold.

Hand 1- b/f, villain will call down with worse hands

Hand 2- fold and take a note

Hand 1 - I'm OOP - I like c/c on turn and river. Open to thoughts on this.
Hand 2 - The overbet was about 1.3 x the pot. It was something like $160 into a $120.

I don't think I'm ever folding Hand 1 to a drooler...I bet w/ the intention of getting it in. If I'm behind...suck out like a champion.

In Hand 2 what are we taking notes on if we fold? That he over-bet shoved the turn w/ ____ ? I'm probably not happy about it, but I guess I might fold still. If it were a little smaller than a PSB I'd probably end up calling, but against this guy we can wait for a bigger edge.
