Default i keep changing my plan

stars 10/20, villain is unknown.

I open otb with KJo, sb 3bets, heads up

flop (6sb):
Kh Jd 3c

he bets, I raise, he 3bets, I decide to call and pop him on the turn

turn (6bb):
Ah

I change my plan to just call

river (8bb):
2h

I decide to raise.

because the bdfd coming in might scare him into calling only whereas on the turn you could've gotten 3-bet easier?

I don't fully understand your thought process here on turn and river. Could you please explain?

I too don't get why you want to raise the river, but not turn.

just call the river.
if he is at all reasonable his range is crushing you. you're pretty much hoping he has KQ or another KJ.

I know no reads, but I would usually put someone on at least TPGK after he 3bets the flop

yourface why can't he have stuff like JT or KT/KQ or stuff like QQ or AT or A9 or something? I mean he's an unknown, we have to add in a little moran factor right?

I mean I have pretty far from the nuts here and I didn't raise the turn because of that. and yes my plan changed on the river to raise because of the flush. don't know if that is right though.

shouldn't say he's CRUSHING you
it's like [JJ KK AA AK]*11 vs QK*8 and KJ*4
so it's not a raise unless you think his range is wider

Neither of his OOP 3-bets is terribly suggestive of that range. "Moran factor" allows you to grin as you instacall the river.

That's a pretty small range for a guy 3-betting a button raise

ok so he called with J7s which got me to thinking about the moran factor.

and I still think he has stuff like KT/JT a lot even if we assume he is legit.

do people really 3bet this flop OOP without at least top pair after hero raised preflop and got 3bet? that seems like a spew to me, even in a blind steal situation.

villains play seems retarded based on his hand. but hey, that's why we play poker
