Default I feel icky in these spots...

No reads on villian, and strangely, he is not showing up in my PT database...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG+1 ($47)
MP1 ($14.80)
MP2 ($104.45)
Hero ($58.15)
CO ($51)
Button ($49.25)
SB ($49)
BB ($48.75)
UTG ($46.75)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, UTG calls $2, MP1 folds.

Flop: ($6.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $8</font>, Hero calls $4.

Turn: ($22.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $14.5</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $22.25

What does he limp with UTG that calls a preflop raise and check/min-raises the flop that's not 88/TT/T8? I don't think I'm really ever ahead here.

Basically, my question is: should I call the min-raise on the flop? It seems too weak-tight to fold to it. My plan was to call and see what he does on the turn; if he bet small I probably call, big - I fold, etc.; is this reasonable?

At first glance the guy looks like a set miner to me. I don't think you can fold it to the min-raise of the flop because it costs you $4 to possibly turn a J and stack him ($36). With implied odds it is close.

I like the way the hand was played.

Yeah, looks a WHOLE lot like a set, you also could have turned a straight draw so can't really fold on the flop.
