Default I want to go to Acapulco for spring break

This seems like it would be fun for drunken debauchery. As of right now its me and 1 other guy going. Just wondering if anyone has been and anyone has recommendations on where to stay. Keeping the hotel around ~200 a night would be ideal. If anyone has been and has recommendations then speak up.

The "downtown" area near the Zocalo is much cheaper (eating, drinking, hotels, etc.) than the "Strip." Try to get a place down there and you can either walk or get a cab (for $2) to any beach you want within Acapulco.

I lived in Acapulco for a year.

I went there for spring break last year. It was amazing. We stayed at Casa Inn and partied at La Palapa all week during the day. I went through STS travel but booked our own flight so we could go first class. I'd suggest getting a package through one of the travel agencies because you can get a party package where your cover and drinks are free at the clubs (usually 40$ a night with line) no line if u have the passes.
