Nice post! I agree with most of what you're saying, but I maybe don't play AQ as strong as you do. Guess the difference also is in what position I am (ie I often just limp from UTG and UTG+1 at a full table, early levels). Also, my play in limped pots may vary also, as it may be expensive if many people have limped ahead and you have to make a bigger raise than if you just have one limper.

this is actually something ive been thinking about and might add to this post in the future...the idea of when to open in position based on number of limpers and having to bloat the pot if youre going to raise. for now, i think its still reasonably sound logic on aggression with it early, but i will add that if there a few too many limpers/the wrong limpers even in early levels I will certainly increase my limping frequency.

AMT,

Nice hand sir, thank you. I guess I'll have to start playing AQ and see how it goes, I'm one of the nitty ones who usually avoided it. (One little quibble, your odds are about 2.1:1 to flop a pair, actually.)

Whilst I strongly hated the thought of a set. I gave him A4/A7 a significant time as part of his range. He called and showed me two 4's and I was out.

In this instance I was wondering how do you guys get away from this hand at these stakes or do you stick it in.
