I started out grinding limit at like 2/4, then met stevepa and pacmann who taught me stuff, and told me I should be less of a nit(ie. not playing with a 3kBB roll), and started improving, then moved to tournaments, ran sick hot(made like 150ish between Mar 06 and July 06 without being very good at the time), from running good in donkaments, I got entry into a winner take all 1m prize pool SNG, which I chopped 3 handed for 330, from there, I started staking lots of v. good players, who have done pretty well since, and I've also been playing lots of cash on other networks as well as shortstacking the big games on FTP(I'm super -EV fullstacking, but when Watts and I got into it, no one could adapt well to short stackers and they all just spite called us etc.) Heres the shortstacking thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...ue#Post10269655

[/ QUOTE ] My parents have above average jobs(probably about average for people with university degrees), and are good at saving money, but are certainly far from rich, and because they save everything, they seem poorer than most people with equivalent salaries and worse spending habbits. I've never used my parents money to gamble, and the initial $100 I put online through their credit card, I payed them cash before I made a desposit.
