Default Noobie question - big draw on turn for a big bet

Alright, so after having much success at the omaha $300 (1,2 blinds) game at the local casino I came across this hand.
Now a few words, as I've stated earlier I am a principally holdem player (both Limit and NL) but have found nut peddaling at the omaha game simply too profitable to give up. Anyway this hand came up and I'm concerned I may be a little too nittish.

Please be merciless in your criticism

Stacks
hero 700
villain 200

Reads
Villain is a very good experienced player, and I'm begginning to suspect he likes to push people off pots when he senses weakness.
I'm perceived as a bit of a nit at omaha, don't know if people pay that much attention though.

I have QTd 93s in the BB

utg raises to 7 and there are 5 callers to me, I also call (mistake???)

Flop (42) Jd 8d 2c

I think I'm pretty strong here so I bet the pot, only the villain, in CO calls

turn (126) 3c (Jd 8d 2c)

I check, and villain moves allin for his remaining 120 odd chips

Hero does what? And should he have folded preflop and/or checked the turn.
