Default An easy decision with top two pair?

CO is running 20/10/2.3 over about 100 hands and probably views me as a little over aggressive.

My plan was to call the turn and c/c most rivers. My reasoning being that there are more combos or A9/A2 then 99. I also expect to occasionally see something dumb with QTcc or something.

note stack sizes.

No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3/$6
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $459.50
UTG+1: $1046.50
Hero: $1188
Button: $1243.25
SB: $1173.15
BB: $1662.05

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
2 folds, Hero raises to $24, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($72, 3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $56, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($184, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $130, SB raises to $395, Hero calls?

I think calling and c/c'ing most rivers is pretty good here

Are we folding to a decent river bet if it clubs?

So the pot will be like $1000 on the river and we have $800 left. We aren't folding. Shoving turn is so much better than calling turn and calling villain's river shove.

this is not necessarily true...what is important is the relative frequency with which he calls with worse vs how often he open shoves with better

villain shouldnt have clubs but we may, id be happier about calling a river club shove than a non river club

also bet more on the flop
i think call/call or call/bet are your best choices
shove sucks imo, i dont think he ever has A2 and rarely A9
but i do think this is a bluff greater than 1/3 of the time

also, OP u said CO runs... you are CO as i see it, i assume those stats are for SB

What happens if its a club? That might slow down OUR action by taking the call, check/call line. I like shoving here..It could be A2,A9 or even a weird AJ/AQ trying a showdown tactic (though an abnormally large one).

I wouldn't immediately discount QJ/Q10 clubs.

Shoving turn is good. It's poor to say that Villain doesn't have clubs, agree with the above that combo clubs do make up part of his range.
