Default Florida Jackpot ?

I play at a poker room in central Florida that has 1 Royal Flush Jackpot. They claim that the new Statue only allows for 1 jackpot. No seperate JP for Omaha, no bad beat JP, No aces cracked JP etc. I don't recall seeing language in the law that supported this. Is there any other Poker rooms (non Indian) that has multiple Jackpots? or seperate JP for Omaha?

Derby Lane in St Pete has several jackpots going right now. There's a bad beat for holdem cash games, a royal for tournaments, and a high hand for holdem cash games.

The casinos in south florida pay for the royal, have some high hand thing, and then 2 bad beat jackpots for holdem and omaha.

So when Management says that the law only allows for 1 jackpot, can I assume that they are blowing smoke up my ***?
Would this be an interpretation issue or was there something that came out of the last workshop that said that you can have multi JP now but be prepared to stop them and only have 1?

Let's make sure we know the difference between the Indian casinos and the parimutuels. The Indians can and do have several jackpots here in South Florida. The parimutuels I'm not so sure about. Haven't played much lately, but I don't believe there is too much going if anything jackpot-wise at the parimutuels. Seems to always be one of those things that's going to happen tomorrow.

which card room are you talking about? There are no card rooms in Central Florida (Orlando) - you have to go to Melbourne or Tampa or Port Canaveral which is not central FL.
