Re: $2200 HU turbo SNG full tilt
ROFL, yes... 60% winrate > 5% ROI, im saying since 5% is what the best of the best achieve at upper limits... obv 60% should be huge in a 2200...

Ugh, misread, point still stands though, 60-40 snap called by me in any game, regardless of buyin.

Uh, 60% winrate is more than 5% ROI unless I'm retarded. And a 60-40 should be taken at every level including the 6s. If you pass up on them you're an idiot, period. (Not directed at anybody in particular) [/ QUOTE ] Ofcourse in a vacuum you should take these bets but just because there is that option (stuffing your money in as a 3:2 favorite) doesn't mean there arent better ones. Is it so unimaginable to think there is a line that hero can take that will gain him more in the long run??? |

Re: $2200 HU turbo SNG full tilt
I didn't say this line offered him 60-40 and that no other line offered him better, I'm just saying if I knew I was 60-40 in any given spot I'd take it, at any buyin.

Re: $2200 HU turbo SNG full tilt
You are only taking about maximizing your equity against a draw. You are not taking into account other possible hands he might have and especially if he is a weak opponent, he might get stacked on. Those hans include two pair(don't have reads, but it is strange if he raised with Q9 or Q8 oop), overpair like kings or aces, AQ - I mean those hands without a draw to go with it. He might felt it on those hands. You are missing value from them if you let another card fall off. It might be a scare card or your line might convince him that you have even better hand that you have - a flopped flush.
Also, if he has a flush, you get your money in better (I mean less an underdog than if you wait until the turn). What I am trying to say is that you are not taking into account other variables, just maximizing your equity against a flush draw. |
