dump it after hitting in RR pot
UTG +1 is a regular nit running 14/10/3.5 over 350 hands.
BU is unknown. The only flush draw I think he could have is AQ and the the turn cooked me with that on anyway. No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $337.59 UTG+1: $162.61 Hero: $200 Button: $208.39 SB: $232.35 BB: $239.85 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $8, Hero raises to $25, Button calls, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls. Re: dump it after hitting in RR pot
Yeah, looks like he has either AK or better. Nicely played. If he check/raised AI on the flop would you call?

Re: dump it after hitting in RR pot
I would put him on AK and call for a split only to see him flip JJ half the time

shove turn, as played call river [/ QUOTE ] Gross. Put villain on a range please. At best we're chopping here. |

[ QUOTE ]
shove turn, as played call river [/ QUOTE ] Bet more on flop, shove turn. I think betting more on the flop (1) doesn't give him as good odds to draw to whatever (2) essentially commits the rest if a bad card comes. If he doesn't have AQhh, then the T doesn't matter, and I'd just take the initiative and shove. |

Reraising preflop is meh and I check the flop.

Re: dump it after hitting in RR pot
For people advocating a shove at any point in this hand please assign villain a range after the flop as well as a range that we get called by.

Re: dump it after hitting in RR pot
I would check the flop HU but 3 way I think there is value in betting. Especially with such a wet flop and a likely donk in the hand. Could be wrong though.

Re: dump it after hitting in RR pot
If I put villain on JJ, KK, AA, AK, AQs I get 19:81 call and we need about 26% for calling to be correct. But if we could put QQ to villains range then calling would be correct because we got 41:59. It's very close.
Now we need to think what hands would he check/call on the flop? Could we remove something from his range because I think check/raising allin would be optimal with most of those hands. I actually would do that with every hand of that range. |
