Fish donks 2x pot into combo draw
BB is running 50/17/2.3 over 170 hands.
SB is loose, short and bad. I'm playing about 22/17 and have taken down a few recent pots uncontested. I could see BB donking like this with KQ or 77. No real idea what the best line is. No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $1188.25 UTG+1: $374.10 Hero: $409.50 Button: $484 SB: $120 BB: $459.65 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, Hero raises to $16, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($48, 3 players) SB checks, BB bets $104, Hero folds, SB folds. Uncalled bets: $104 returned to BB. Results: Final pot: $48 |

Re: Fish donks 2x pot into combo draw
Its a marginal shove if you think he has QK and if he ever has worse then we should for sure be putting it in. 77 is pretty unlikely since you hold the case seven. I'd jam it.

Re: Fish donks 2x pot into combo draw
If you like variance, shove, because this is a coinflip almost always, and he calls almost always. Folding is fine as well, since you're never in "good" shape here.

Re: Fish donks 2x pot into combo draw
I'm not sure why jamming is supposed to be so profitable here. We are being offered nothing in terms of odds and do you think BB is ever folding?
Lay down a hand range for him where we're in really good shape. Don't forget that he can easily have higher combo draws here (AhJh, QhJh) or hands like KT/77 that severely hurt our equity. |

I shove. You're flipping here most of the time and I think once in a while a fish might even fold here.
