AA on w/ FD poorly played on every st
BTN is a maniac running at 65/25/2 after 150 hands. I've given him a lot of action, and I'm about breakeven against him after 3-4 confrontations.
SB is an unknown but bought in for just 12 BBs, so I assume he sucks. Pre-flop: (1.5 SB, 6 players) Hero is BB A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 folds, BTN raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, BTN 4-bets, SB calls, Hero calls Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (12.0 SB, 3 players) SB bets, Hero calls, BTN raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls, BTN 4-bets, SB calls, Hero calls I didn't want to raise the flop in case I shut out maniac on the button in case he had a hand like KQo no spade. I hate call-reraising on the flop because it's far too strong a line. Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (12.0 BB, 3 players) SB bets, Hero calls, BTN calls SB still leading after a button cap makes reconsider whether my AA is good, so I call and hope to improve. River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (15.0 BB, 3 players) SB bets, Hero raises, 1 fold, SB 3-bets, Hero crying calls I improve and raised for value but this is inconsistant with read from the turn and I get 3-bet . Is calling the river much better? I think button will call two cold with any spade. |

Re: AA on w/ FD poorly played on every st
Jam flop. You eq is huge and its an action flop. Besides, if BTN wants to call 1 bet he is prolly calling 2 as well.
As played I would just go for the overcall on the river. SB showed huge strength on the flop and turn and the fact that he isnt slowing down makes it fairly likely that he has a boat. |
