Default Pocket Aces - cracked or misplayed?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 8 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $7.15
BB: $4.00
UTG: $2.35
UTG 1: $3.05
MP1: $10.30
MP2: $13.90
CO: $8.45
<font color="black">Hero (BTN): $6.50</font>

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 Players)
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.10, CO folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.40</font>, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.30

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($0.95) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">MP2 bets $0.50</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, <font color="red">MP2 raises to $3.50</font>, Hero calls $1.50

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($7.95) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">MP2 bets $3.60</font>, Hero calls all-in for $2.60
Uncalled bet of $1.00 returned to MP2

<font color="black">River:</font> ($13.15) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $13.15 ($1.30 Rake)

MP2 had 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (four of a kind, Nines) and WON ( $5.35)
Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Nines) and LOST (-$6.50)

Aside from the river (especially because I was all-in before that and trips are more likely to show up than quads) did I play this poorly? Bit unsure how I could have done this differently. Since hindsight is 20/20 I guess I could say fold pre-flop, but seriously, it wasn't much more to call the re-raise on the flop, especially relative to what I had in there and the pot.

Cracked. Get it in on the flop. All kinds of draws.

Heh. Look guys - a min-raise that wasn't a draw! Ugh. I hate this game sometimes.

But yeah, just push the flop after the min-raise. This will be a draw way more often than a set.

Do you have PokerTracker? That would be your only savior. If you knew enough about this player to know he had to have a great hand.

1. Reload pre-hand to $10

2. Add the limper to your preflop size, raising to $.5

3. Get it in on the flop.

And 4. for christ sake go sit at a 6-max table. This hand is also posted in the wrong forum.

It should be in the Full Ring shortstacking forum.
