if you are the chip leader, would you accept this deal? it seems the CL leaves 20k on the table.

In my world, the difference is so much that I think I would take the deal just to eliminate any possibility of getting 2nd. It's not like I'd have a bunch of trials to work the variance out of the EV.

The $30k is purely taken off the top of first place, so that the new payouts are $335,218.75 and $205,646.25.

this is not true. here is the correct calculation:

big stack equity if he plays it out: (9,462,239 / (9,462,239 + 1,775,261) * (365218.75 - 205646.25)) + 205646.25 = 340010

big stack equity if he takes lee's deal: (9,462,239 / (9,462,239 + 1,775,261) * 30,000) + 314769

you have to assume that big stack will win the 30k (9,462,239 / (9,462,239 + 1,775,261)) of the time and then just check to see if the equity for deal and no deal work out.

I think that it would be a good idea to have a link to a webpage where anyone could see the fair deals and also the chip count deals, and some info about the difference.
Not hard to facilitate Lee.
Updated chipcount anytime at final table.

I hate to see players get con'ed in the dealmakings because the chipcount dealmakingis unfair except HU.

Now last night Rambo got screwed bad, but he only got himself to blame, makes me sick though.

there's a lot of debate about what a fair deal is (not so much for heads up though). did rambo take lee's proposed deal? b/c the general consensus is that that is the exactly fair deal assuming equal skill.
