Default How do you people play this?

Just curious. Button flop bettor is 35/18/3 no other notes or anything on anyone (not like it matters here). I show the action how it happened, so I'm curious if you ever throw a c/r down here. But is this a flop people lead or not?

I usually fold preflop, call if it's suited. Suited or not, this isn't the flop i'm looking to get involved with.

Yeah, I'll lead here as I find people don't have a whole lot in unraised pots and usually aren't willing to get stupid in them with marginal hands. If someone does call, it's usually with random overcards. Which is fine, because they often miss.

Agree to a fold PF though. Because people aren't going to get stupid, you don't have the implied odds to think this is a fair holding.

As played, nh.

If we are leading here and the turn is a J-A what are we doing on the turn OOP?

ok, maybe i over-estimated people's abilities or something. i like playing hands that make the nuts, especially with good odd multi way. I agree that this flop was pretty good but it's also not quite good enough- very border line. And I prob should have led the flop in hindsight. Or c/r this bet. So I misplayed it.

b/f turn, c/f river if unimproved.

C/C lines often leave you stranded on blank rivers facing another bet, and often your opponents will not be aggressive/stupid enough to raise turn with only 1 pair IF they happened to spike on the turn. Often I get called on the flop by literally ATC, and they fold turn.
