SB is just doing a C-bet on the flop. Raising is ok, as you knock MP1 out. but his 3 bets spells trouble. He's not worried about you having hit an A.

On turn you have a flush draw, which could stack you up if you hit on the river. So gotta call.

OK, I think folding on river is justifiable. You were prob beat on the flop already.

Looks good. I probably call the river once I get there, but I doubt it matters much from an EV standpoint.

Was the pot really that big ? Anyway I think that I like your flop raise.

1. You improve your winning chances if you have the best hand and your raise causes MP1 to fold.

2. You learn from SB's 3-bet that you probably need to improve to win, and can play the rest of the hand accordingly.

I suppose that the alternative would have been to call down UI from SB's flop bet. However, you were not heads up, and that line would have been more expensive if you were behind.

I think raising the flop is goot since so many hands can call us profitable. On the river it's close He can have Ax x<=8. I look him up since he is unknown. (do u never play poker with reads [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ).
