Depends on what kind of player MP1 is. You've got plenty of chips compared to the blinds, why not just call the raise and see if you hit an A or K. Even if you call and miss, you're still in good shape. If you hit you may double up.
I'm just not sure we need to race (if we're called, we're probably racing at best) for all our chips this early in the tournament. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, you have a limper UTG+1 with a fat stack who may just decide to squeeze with something like QJs or similar. I think you are better off isolating the raiser here, letting UTG+1 fold comfortably pre-flop. There's only one hand you really hate to see MP1 flip over (AA). Even against KK you have a reasonable chance, and if he calls with less than that it's all lagniappe. --Casey |
