Stars Mods

I was using the table/label mods from this guy:

and it was beautiful. But the new stars update put the stupid green background & dealer tray back in somehow (fg.bmp I presume). I prefer the normal cards, so I don't know how the card mods got affected.

Can someone get please get rid of the green tabletop for me again?

I was using the same exact mods and was very happy until today's update. See View->Themes and select Hyper-Simple Theme - is is very similar to our mod, except that the cards don't look so nice.

Well, in a pinch, this will work [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I created a fg.bmp to get my old table back, but be careful, the file size has to be exact or PS won't open a table. This is a quick-fix until maybe waffle could update for us (still a few things that aren't normal)

Imageshack converts it to a png, so right-click this image and save it to your hard drive:

Now you'll have to open this .png image in Photo Editor and Save As: [bitmap]: fg_new.bmp
Move fg_new.bmp into c:\program files\pokerstars\gx
then in the \gx directory, copy fg.bmp to fg_old.bmp (copy, don't rename)
now add the following to the .bat file you use to start PS:

Before the PokerStarsUpdate.exe line:
copy /y "Gx\fg_old.bmp" "Gx\fg.bmp"

After the PokerStarsUpdate.exe line:
copy /y "Gx\fg.bmp" "Gx\fg_old.bmp"
copy /y "Gx\fg_new.bmp" "Gx\fg.bmp"

Bah, yeah. The hyper-simple theme using the alternate cards is perfect for me. All that trouble I went through for nothing [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
