50NL: RR\'d JJ pf, tough overpair v. overpair situation on the flop
Villain just sat down a couple hands ago, no reads so far.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP ($24.10) Button ($49.80) SB ($4) Hero ($61.45) UTG ($25.45) Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls $0.50, Button raises to $3, 1 fold, Hero raises to $7, MP folds, Button calls $4. Flop: ($14.75) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $11, Button raises to $22, Hero??? My reasoning with the small RR pf was to get him to fold if he was just punishing limpers with garbage, yet get away cheap if he had AA or KK and 4bet big. (My standard RR is pot, but villain doesn't know this) Perhaps this was a mistake. When he raised the flop, I was pretty certain he had some overpair (or maybe 55). So what's the plan? Am I folding or getting the money in somehow? |

I'm in there, as you can expect to see 77-TT a lot. AA, KK probably 4 bet you, so you are really only sunk against 3x, 55, and QQ.
