Default NL50- Tough spot with KK

I normally 3bet here...but his raise was so strange...and large enough to keep rags out. I thought I could disguise my hand well.

I put him on 99-QQ...maybe AA.

How would you play it?

CHAIMPYO is a big fish from what I have seen. Really bad and plays a few tables too. Just reraise preflop, you don't to worry about him putting yo on a hand to be fair. The problem is on that flop you are now behind a chunk of his potential range for opening to 5$.

If you call the flop bet then you must get it in on this safe turn.

I think you gotta raise preflop or raise flop. Mainly because you are OOP for the entire hand, which sucks and gets you in spots like this.

If we're really thinking PPs only and no AQ and whatnot, I think we can give it up on the turn. The board sucks for you hand versus a PP range that fired a second barrel.

The turn bet does look slightly scared, but it's not so easy to interpret it confidently.

3-betting preflop is an option, of course, but then again that is easy to say in retrospect, since this obviously is not the flop we were hoping for. (Then again, the JJ-99 part of the range you give to Villain will often flop an overcard to be scared of. But at the same time, if you 3-bet such a big preflop raise, you'd think that also would put Villain on alert.)

OMG, Im so jealous right now. CHAIMPYO is the biggest donk at NL50. I always try to find him when I play. You probably could have shoved pf and gotten a call out of TT. As played I am fist pumping and getting it in. You should have made it at least 15 pf and gotten it in on the flop though. From this guy it could be AK, AQ and once in a while some really really random [censored].
