Default Re: AP thread 87.1 - waiting on the statement ITT

So would it make sense given the recent changes to US laws that Scott Tom and his partners relinquished their executive positions at AP and became highly paid and equally as powerful "consultants" to the organization? This would fit the stance that these guys are no longer involved with AP (on paper at least), as well as the statement about a consultant being involved.

It's funny that just 2 or 3 days ago AP was threatening to sue members of the 2p2 community for defaming their character.

LOL....Oh how far we've come in this little journey.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did they? I just recall the Mark Seif chat suggesting that Dan Druff should be worried about that.

By the way, this is really nothing to fear because to sue, they have finle, and all the potentially relevant doccuments, email, financial records, etc. could be demanded in discovery. As many have learned in the past, it is not such a good idea to take someone to court when you have stuff to hide (and it is a lot harder for businesses to hide stuff than you might think.)

First hand wouldn't have been snapcalled, it would have been raised by our superuser.

Do you even know what IMO stands for? You're staying tuned in your opinion? WTF stop using it if you have no clue what it means, just bc half of bbv overuses imo.

[ QUOTE ]

We all know that there's no chance we're not going to get to 100%, but it's a lot more intriguing this way.

[/ QUOTE ]

Again, complete ignorance. If there is no chance that we are not going to get 100% of the truth, then its definetly coming to us. Good mastery of the english language + good candidate for worst post of the year IMO.

Absolute Poker purchased Ultimate Bet in Oct, 2006. $10 million in cash and about $140 million in 5 future annual payments.

It's not anywhere near a major concern in regards to this drama. But I wonder what this will do to UB if anything? It seems they have done nothing wrong and are at most guilty by association or in this case by ownership. But I have money there and suddenly feel uncomfortable about it. That makes me wonder if this will hurt business? Or for that manner will it hurt online poker in general?
