If the games are so tough why is it that most CR high stakes videos feature bad opponents? E.g., the recent two CTS high stakes videos had some terrible opponents. Coincidence?

The regs are probably tougher on U.S. sites but overall it seems like there are still fish around judging from the videos.

havent read the whole thread, but vannessa rousso studied game theory at duke. im pretty confident she could beat the kiddy game

Duke is for people who aren't smart enough to go somewhere good, like Harvard or Stanford. People who claim to have studied game theory at Duke impress me about as much as people who claim to beat 4-8 limit... live.

I played Jennifer Harman at 200/400 HU Razz and she plays much better then I expected. Definately the best FTP Pro I've played there.

What did you expect? She plays the Big Game and apparently holds here own, so I assume she is pretty good at all limit games. You thought she would be a fish because she is a girl? How much did you lose?

to just come out a moderate winner at the 3/6 and 5/10 is not a demanding task.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, what do you play?

It's kinda hilarious to read the non-strat forums full of busto retards acting like all you have to do is raise and bet good hands to win at 5/10. You won't even win at 2/4 with that strategy (you can break even, but that's it).

Is beating 5/10 NL up there with rocket science and brain surgery? I mean, it takes a similar amount of effort and study as well as above average intelligence, so tbh, yes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Similar amount of effort?????? Would you go to a brain surgeon that has studied it for a year and learned from an internet message board?

Which of these woman would be a winning player @ 4-8 NL online?

Kristy Gazes
Mimi Tran
Clonie Gowen
Anette_15
Jennifer Harman
Annie Duke
Evelyn Ng
Brandi
Cindy Violette
Isabelle Mercier
Liz Lieu
Karina Jett
Vanessa Rousso
Kathy Liebert
Jennicide

[/ QUOTE ]

definitely:

Annette
Kathy Liebert (shes good)

maybe:

Liz Leiu
Mimi Tran

maybe maybe Harman, but if you changed this to 5-10 6m no chance, although I think Liebert and Annette would still be winners

I think the only player with the mental toughness and heart to hold their own at the nosebleeds is Brandi Hawbaker. she just needs to fix up some leaks and she could be among the best ever.
