Default badly played KK?

Sorry I couldn't find a hand converter for microgaming so I tried my best

I could not stop thinking about this hand, so I would appreiciate advice and feedback.

Villian has VPIP: 21.2 PFR:18.9 Over 89 hands, and was playing fairly tight

** Game ID 862828455 starting - 2007-11-03 16:46:25
** Lochinvar [Hold 'em] (0.25|0.50 No Limit - Cash Game) Real Money

- muay-thai sitting in seat 1 with $28.76 [Dealer]
- tuinui sitting in seat 2 with $56.81
- -Castle- sitting in seat 3 with $31.90
- Grindabo31 sitting in seat 4 with $49.25
- Hero sitting in seat 5 with $62.86
- Villian sitting in seat 6 with $65.81

tuinui posted the small blind - $0.25
-Castle- posted the big blind - $0.50

** Dealing card to Hero: King of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], King of [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Grindabo31 folded
Hero raised - $2.00
Villian raised - $7.00
muay-thai folded
tuinui folded
-Castle- folded
Hero raised - $22.00
Villian called - $22.00

** Dealing the flop: 8 of [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Ace of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5 of [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bet - $20.00

My thinking was:
I did not put him on AA, because there was an A on the board and that made it unlikely and also he would probably put me all in pre-flop if he did have. The main hand that I put him on that he would raise call preflop was QQ, JJ and maybe 1010 and AK, I did not think AK was likely since I had two kings. I did not think that he would play AQ, AJ etc.. like this, I I figured I would have the best most of the time. Was I correct to assume this and put out this bet?

Villian went all-in - $43.81
Hero went all-in - $20.86

Here I think I made a terrible call, I haven't got a reason for this call probably the blood went to my head since I had already put 2/3 of my stack in and I was getting 4:1 odds and was probably thinking of the times that people at this level could bluff this. I think this was a clear fold, your opinions.
** Dealing the turn: 8 of [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

** Dealing the river: 7 of [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

End of game 862828455

erase results, havent looked at them but people will and post accordingly.

Ok preflop is standard.
I'd check the flop, no worse hands will call i think.
Fold to his allin push, he got AK at least.

Ok erased, is it really ok to check and allow free cards to QQ, JJ or the possibility of a bluff. Thankyou for your advice , I think that I am too aggressive and need to get into the mode of thinking the types of hands that would call me instead of just betting to get them to fold

I thin kyou haveto check, you cant be scared of qq or jj hitting a set. besides you should be losing to much money in this hand anyway.

At these limits, I think it is rare for someone to call a 4-bet without AA, KK or AK, unless they are a shortstack, in which case if your 4-bet doesn't put them all-in, they would shove. If i have a 4-bet called here, I don't like my hand much even before the A comes on the flop. If they did have QQ, they only have 2 outs, so you don't lose nearly as much by giving them a free shot at hitting a set as you do my cbetting into an A.

90% of the time I see this is when they call 4bets it's with JJ/QQ -- the other 10% it's AA making sure he gets your stack that would be better off just pushing.

It's rarely AK. AK is either going to push preflop or fold (with those stats).

With that said, I guess I like c/c him down to the river. AA you were destined to dump your stack to.

Well after the PF action, you have less than 1 PSB, this sucks but I can't really fold anywhere here. C/C down would be ideal though since you might lure QQ or JJ into betting.

If you opponent had AA that's life.
