Good Brandy?

Can anyone make some good recommendations for brandy? We really don't drink any, but we want to try some this weekend while we don't have anywhere to be. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

A couple pieces of advice: for the same $, you'll get better quality with Armagnac than with cognac. Second, there are some absolutely delicious calvados (apple brandy) in the $40-60 range if you want to try something different. Go to a reputable liquor store and ask for advice.
