Default 50/100 observed headsup madness(?)

I observed every hand of this 120 or so hand headsup game between these 2 guys, can anyone shed any light on these plays? Itsafire had fired 2 barrels (the second being the remainder of his stack) on another table juniper was on and lost, but aside from that has not ever put his stack in without a hand. Obviously the game is extremely aggressive but it seemed that everytime the serious bucks went in there were some terrible calls, right?

What do you mean?

I wanted to know if play like this was standard at this level. You think J played these hands well ? ? (these are all the significant hands in the session so you can see texture etc for yourself).

using 25 BB stacks is the only way you would have any hope.

how about 500/1000 with 500 BB?

Hi RR,

I didn't go through all of the hands, because the first few looked fine for a wide range of 2nd best hands on the river. Notice that itsafire improved his hand tremendously on the turn after reraising pf and potting the flop with mediocre hands in many of these confrontations. When a guy keeps doing that to you HU, best of luck.

JB's play seems pretty passive in these hands, but we don't know what the flavor of the match was from these. It's quite possible that in each of the first few hands you copied, JB had a good one pair hand, and knew that itsafire would keep betting it (getting most of it in on the turn), so his best play was the rope-a-dope. It's also possible he's a passive fish. Who knows?
