I've come to the conclusion that an exercise’s effectiveness is inversely proportional to how often you see it being performed in a commercial fitness facility.

!!!!!!! To everyone, I'm taking a two week vacation so I've stopped all cardio, but I walk a bunch (probably 2+ miles everyday). Should I feel guilty? I'm happy because I eat really good food and have quality time with peeps but the hanging thought of having to lose the weight after vacation kinda bothers me. thremp, Brooks bro shirts are so underrated. i'm going to get some for fall recruiting once im back from vacation |

Did 175 kg bench in competion saturday.
Had 220 kg on in fully geared squat today, but it wasnt deep enough. The suit was freaking tight. |

Starting tomorrow (first day of my senior year), I am going to live really healthy and work out at least 5 times a week. I've got a membership setup at my local gym and have moved back in with my parents so I won't be eating fast food/take out all the time. I'll post pictures in 10 weeks to show progress.
I'm actually going to do it this time. |

Normally, I fall off the wagon of eating good when something brings me down.. say like too much work. Well, I did a full week of eating healthy even though I worked a ton of hours, including an all nighter on Thurs into Friday (so ~30 straight hours at work). My only "cheats" were 3 authentic mexican tacos for dinner after work Friday (not too bad, just meat, cilantro, and onions on corn tortillas. I had two carnitas and one chicken) and a home made bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant on Sunday. And 1 beer on Saturday.
Normally a week like that would include a giant burrito and a trip to in n out burger. Now I just need to keep it up. |

ARG GOD DAMN FKING FK FK
Every time I start getting back on the program something stupid happens. Today I'm front squatting, only have a 25 on each side, just trying to keep good form and everything, and all of a sudden something pinches in my upper back. WTF MY UPPER BACK, it's like a pinched nerve or something near my shoulder blade and it's killing me. Now I have to go easy for a couple of weeks and I'm going to lose motivation. Screw you, Universe. (I'm like just finally recovering from my separated shoulder which hasn't healed right and fking clicks and pops and just feels messed up and the doctors recommend no surgery) |
