Re: FGators: The Final Chapter [1.4m hands EV graph]
OK at $200 NL rake at Stars is what, maybe 2.5PTBB/100 or so? Certainly it's over 2...
And he is -0.23PTBB/100, so He is actually taking money off the table (probably over 2PTBB/100) and only needs a RB equivalent of about 10% to break even. As Stars FPP's for Novas as I understand it are supposed to be worth around 30% RB isn't this guy in long-term profit? OK he's no ABA but his actual hourly win rate (after 30% RB added) would be equivalent to 0.5PTBB/100 or so (or $2/100 at 1/2). If he is 12 tabling let's assume 1k hands/hour, so that's +$20/hr or so - so even the worst poker pro in the world post-Frist still makes more than he would flipping burgers yes? |

Fgators, You don't do anything tricky postflop, don't mind soul crushing breakeven streaks and play like a robot. I suggest SnGs. [/ QUOTE ] I don't. Check his sharkscope |

he doesn't use PT? HE DOESN'T USE PT???? HE DOESN'T USE PT!!!!!!????????? LOL. seriously, wtf. like, good god. this is unreal. well i hate to break it to everyone, but once fgators figures out what a HUD is and how to use one he will probably become a winning player. like, jesus. wow. i'm stunned. like wtf. i can't stop typing. i'm literally in shock. i thought this guy was just really, really bad. but the reality of it is he probably just plays bad because he plays too many tables. [/ QUOTE ] What makes you think he's going to start now? Peole have been telling him he needs to use PT for well over a year - maybe longer. In addition, players like Nath have offered to coach him for free (iirc) and he turns them away because he clearly has mad skillz and is just unlucky. Normally, I wouldn't pile on but this guy really deserves all the ridicule. |

Re: FGators: The Final Chapter [1.4m hands EV graph]
Yeah I agree with all that. But FGators is running basically a nitty TAG style which is similar to me (I run at like 16/11). I run at something like 4BB/100 which isn't earth shattering but isn't bad given I run like 8 to 10 tables. So I'm trying to give a realistic idea of what FGators might achieve playing similarly except, you know, well.

[ QUOTE ] I don't get how this works...I honestly am sucked out on a 250:1 ratio..in fact I can't remember the last time I coolered someone or got it in drawing to two outs and won yet it happens to me a large portion of the time so I don't know how this graph works. I've got a Word document with about $400k worth of total bad beats and I've probably only sucked out on people in about 5k worth of pots lifetime so thats how I do my pokerv graphs.
