Default AAA Flop

I raise QJo from the HJ, 60/20 aggro looking guy who I just sat beside calls in the BB. Flop AAA he donks, I call intending to raise the next street FSD (for jackass factor, I suppose).

A raise doesn't seem like a good idea here. Mainly because it could induce you to make an incorrect fold if he 3-bets you. I think those bets are better invested in a turn and river call UI.

I don't like this either. Especially if the turn is a low card, he's probably not folding a King.

Oh, I don't expect him to fold a king more than, like, maybe 10%. This is how I think: "if I'm putting 2BB in the pot I don't really see him going nuts on me with a worse hand if I 3 bet, so I may as well be a [censored]". In my experience, it pays to be a [censored]. I'm mostly expecting comments about how it's not worth it and I should just call down, and checking to see if anyone likes fastplaying the flop.

Bryce,

I used to ascribe to the philosophy that "if it's breakeven EV wise it's always better to be a pain in the ass by raising" for metagame reasons etc, but after playing a high volume of hands in that style IMO it makes variance a tremendous headache, and opens you up to being outplayed in a large # of marginal situations by overaggro or very insightful players.

I do think a calldown is better than a raise here, but never underestimate the value of frustrating your opponents.
