Um i would just call his raise, you're not getting the odds to go all in.

If he just calls the raise he'll be commited anyway. Might as well get all the money in on the flop, when his equity is alot better than it'll be on a blank turn.

Re: NL 50 AK in 3bet pot flops nut flush draw
BB cold-calls a 14BB pre-flop raise and min-raises the flop.
You do realize you have exactly 0 fold equity here, right? Running it through pokerstove, you're probably a 40/60 dog to his range (any made flush/any overpair with a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]). If you take a made flush out of the range, you're a lot closer to a coinflip. After his flop minraise, you're looking at calling $40.10 (his $13 raise and the other $27.10 he had behind since all the money is going in if you call) to win $87.10 (money already in the pot + his money behind). I could go either way on this one - it really comes down to what range you put him on and how often you think he'll semibluff a smaller diamond. |

Re: NL 50 AK in 3bet pot flops nut flush draw
I'm not sure how much I like the flop bet. BB's most likely range is a pair 88+, AQs+. This flop is all over his range. Plus you have the button still in too.
The flop bet is a little weak. I think, if you are going to bet, you need to make a bigger bet and then go with it. There's nothing to think about because you commit yourself. |

Re: NL 50 AK in 3bet pot flops nut flush draw
Yikes...
The thing to know here is if you bet this flop, you're committed. Personally, I'd c/f here...the overcall screams donk. I don't really have a problem with the bet size, 2/3rd pot is fine...you have outs if he has a set and am only drawing dead to a made flush (which is pretty unlikely btw). equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 40.429% 39.77% 00.65% 10238 168.50 { AdKs } Hand 1: 59.571% 58.92% 00.65% 15165 168.50 { 99+, KdQd, QdJd } |

Re: NL 50 AK in 3bet pot flops nut flush draw
Just lead for the pot size. Call a shove.
After he is minraised he does have 0 fold equity. But pot is too big to fold now and it doesn't matter if we just call and get it on turn or just shove. And really, there's no such thing as nooo fold equity. Villain could fold JJ no diamond or misclick. |
