Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
2 options
1) 4bet pre and cbet any flop 2) if you aren't 3betting, its with the intention to CR any non A board right? so do that. CR to 88, call shove. |

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
If you 4-bet, then you call a shove?

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
Either 4 bet PF and get it arrr in or call and say to your cat "fluffy, ALL YOU CAN EAT BABY" then fist pump and shove. And if he wins you can go and kick your cat.

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
usually I would take OPs line and raise flop. (I said CR in my last post because i thought OP was oop) 4betting and then calling a shove is not so great in my opinion, but sometimes you have to stick it in.
Looking back at it, his 3bet is really small, he manually typed in 18 rather than just hitting the pot button. i definitely 4bet, and most times get it in. |

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
reraise preflop.
i'm suprised at the number of people saying raise the flop. there are like zero draws out and we're going to raise/call? are we expecting him to do this with AK and JJ? i like a flat call on the flop and let him hang himself on the turn. |

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
i'd just call the flop and get it in on the turn to get max value from hands like AK/AQ/99-JJ. if you raise here, you fold out AK/AQ, 99-JJ might call one more bet but def not the turn. So...I think calling flop, getting in on the turn is max value? I could be wrong

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
Yeah I def agree with the 2 above me. I kept getting confused about being in or out of position. In position i call flop. oop i CR.

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
there is no way a 38/20 is folding an overpair and he prob isnt just gonna keep firing with ak high for his whole stack. Get it in on the flop before scare cards kill ur action or an a or k hits and u have no idea where u stand.

Re: 200NL: QQ in re-raised
Against that kind of player I would 4-bet preflop most of the time, but a call is fine too.
On the flop I really like a min-raise. It's big enough that he doesn't get odds to call with AK, and it's probably a move he uses himself to make people fold after c-bets, making him more prone to stack off with overcards or lower pockets. |
