I guess grossly played hands run in the marriage:

Mon Oct 29 14:42:16 PDT 2007
Jeremiah Smith Eliminated; Dan Shak Triples Up:

Gus Hanson opens raises to 1,200 Seat 9 (CO) re-raises to 3,600 and Dan Shak (SB) makes the call. Jeremiah Smith (BB) re-raises to 20,000 behind them and both players call with Shak calling all in.

The flop comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Smith shoves all in for 64,000. Seat 9 goes into the tank for three minutes before finally calling with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Smith turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and Shak has 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. The turn is the J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and the river is the 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] giving Shak the main pot and Seat 9 the huge side pot. Smith is eliminated and Shak now has 42,000.

Calling is silly cos you just make the pot big, increase the rake and lose more tourney chips than you would have won from the small pot.
