from villian's perspective, it looks like a bluff because of the flop check with relatively deep stacks (for a tourney)

If you have a good enough live read to make this play with total air why the [censored] would you post it on an internet forum? All we can see is that this looks like total spew against a random tourney donk...

tiny bet, followed by a min-reraise -- this is a classic "idiot with the nuts" tell, what makes you think it's unreliable here?

I often try to move people off hands when they take this line.

It doesn't work.

p.s We do have real poker players in the MTT forum. The reason you only see $20 online MTT hands is because... everyone thinks they should post big buyin live hands here.

big buyin, deep stacked early mtt hands belong here, not in the mtt forum.

At least if you want competent discussion they do.

Fold this.

This is so so spewy. The check flop raise turn line only works against thinking players, who will look at a non-standard line and actually bother to think about what you might have. An unknown in a tourney, even a 10k one will see and odd line and think its a bluff and call way more than they should.

Anyway, you will get good responses to hands like this in MTT. Although you will also get a bunch of retarded ones.

Log onto AIM so you can tell me the results.
Do you ever check this flop with a decent hand?
I mean your hand looks like air and only air.
