There is a 24 hour televised cash game taking place with sbrugby, kaibuxxe, plus all the usual gang like Hellmuth, Tony G etc.

[ QUOTE ]
PartyPoker is happy to announce that ‘PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game II’ is set to take place on Friday 14th September and will be broadcast on terrestrial television around the world next year. The format is simple; it is a 24 hour continuous cash game where each player will buy-in for a minimum of $10,000, with blinds starting at $25/$50 and all players are free to leave the table at any time they want.

The first Poker Den was UK television’s first 24 hour cash game and was dominated by a performance by Phil Hellmuth which was described by commentator Padraig Parkinson as “half murder, half suicide.” Phil is expected to return and join a line-up that includes Dave “The Devilfish” Ulliott, Tony G, Roland De Wolfe, Brian Townsend, Liz Lieu, Ian Frazer, Dan Carter, Roy Brindley, Nikolaus Jedlicka, Ian Woodley, Anthony Hardy, Neil Channing, Dave Gregory and Phil Curtis. Names are still being added to the line-up.

Clips from PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game I programmes broadcast on Five in the UK earlier this year have become cult viewing on the internet with Tony G and the Devilfish revelling in Phil Hellmuth’s misery after the Poker Brat failed to win a significant pot for 12 hours. Other popular clips include Tony G ‘welcoming’ Phil Curtis to the table and Juha Helppi’s Phil Hellmuth impression.

A PartyPoker spokesman said: “Last time there were fireworks and we don’t expect anything different this time around. We are just worried that we’ll find a room big enough to accommodate their egos. Wembley Stadium wasn’t available so we had to settle for something smaller.”

PartyPoker Poker Den: The Big Game II is organized by Matchroom Sport. Jesse May will lead the commentary.
