Poker Tracker or any poker tracking software for Mac.

Does anyone know if there is any software on the horizon that will track poker results, hands, opponents, etc. with a Mac? I understand that there are programs to run Windows within the Mac interface. What I really want to know is if there is or will be this kind of poker tracking software that will run directly on my Mac...not through a Windows mimic. ...not counting the online-based program, Poker Charts. Thanks!

Try searching. I believe there is at least one program out there for Mac, and you can also look for discussions about the next version of PT which sounds like it will work on Macs.

Thanks. I sincerely want to use Poker Tracker. But I'll tell you that I have relentlessly searched for these programs. One that I found doesn't work on FTP, which is where I play most of the time. Again, thanks for the reply...and I'll check out those discussions on future versions of Poker Tracker. Peace.

You can use Parallels Desktop, and run PT in a virtual machine

This would be best actually, since you could also run all the rooms you wanted in the vm as if it were xp, without worrying about Mac compatibility

I don't think I want to use Parallels Desktop, but then again...I don't exactly know what that is. I think it's basically running Windows within my Mac OS. Is that right? If that's the case, I do not want to do it. Other than that, how do I just tell my Mac to run Poker Tracker? ...or was that a joke that I didn't get? Thanks.

Just yell at it until it does. Because it's better. So much better that you have to scramble to find software for it.

Yeah, I wish I could do that. From what I have heard, it is by far the best tool for online poker.

I did email support@pokertracker.com and asked them if and when something that would run directly on the Mac OS without any help. We'll see where that goes. (I have a feeling they will not write back.)

I use MacPoker Pro. I don't think it's compatible with all the poker sites, but it does work with FTP. Crashes and freezes a lot, though. That gets annoying.....
